The Juju hat, Bamiléké feather headdress or Tyn Hat has become very popular over the years in the world of interior decoration. Juju hats are handmade by extremely talented craftsmen.
These vibrant Bamileke feather headdress are handmade by the Bamileke people and traditionally worn by royal dancers during tribal ceremonies held by the Chief as they symbolise prosperity, freedom and beauty.
They range from 50cm to 85cm and look amazing anywhere in your home.
The Juju hat is made of natural or dyed chicken feathers or of wild bird (such as guinea fowl) feathers which are stitched onto a woven raffia.
Juju Hat’s come rolled up, ready to be fanned out and displayed on your wall. When not in use, the headdress can be easily folded.
